Helmo

Human-Animal Overlay:
For this project, I researched the artists and photographers Helmo. Helmo is the work of two men, what they are famous for is overlaying a portrait of a human with a portrait of an animal. The animal must share a similar posture, emotions, or appearance to the human subject.  Originally Helmo kept the humans blue while the animals were edited to be red, for my project I mixed and matched colors to put my own style into my Helmo inspired series of photos.

  2. I really think you captured the main idea of HELMO's work. In all of these photos the animal and the person somehow seem to match. I especially liked the one with the boy in the Hilfiger hoodie, he is quite the handsome boy and that pose he gave was spectacular. Good job this week Jack, I think you got his concept down well.

  5. What's up big homie. All your photos are amazing. When looking at mine my mother wanted to frame it in our house. They are really professional and are good enough to be put in an art museum. What is working is masking your photographers work into yours. These are truly a work of art!
