Portrait

Portrait: This week we mimicked the style of Avedon.  I particularly liked this project since it really feels like more of a connection between me and the subject. I had to make them laugh, or just talk to them to make it feel natural, which was much different then I have ever done in term of photography. I tried to crack some corny dad jokes to make the subjects laugh. But one technique I did was take pictures of them while they were getting ready to take a picture. It often made it a lot more natural, It made it seem like they were not aware of the camera in front of them.
