Pictorial Lines

Decorative Lines:

this was probably my favorite to photograph. The second theme was decorative lines, I got to take abstract pictures of lines that really made the image pop. These ones really draw people's attention making them look at the directions all the lines go in, where they lead to and what shape they make. I like that people can interpret what the shape looks like, so I am really leaving the shape up to the viewer.

Lines That Lead to a Subject:

The first style I used this week was lines that lead to a subject. This was kind of a challenge for me as I would have to find subjects, but it made for some really cool pictures. The lines almost acted like a pathway to the subject leading the viewer's eyes to the subject. I feel like it sends me all around the image making it more interactive in a way.

Arrangement:

The arrangement was interesting. I would have to take pictures of equal lines, and I had to imagine if I took the lines away it the background would be the same. The lines also have to be in equal order. This was probably the one that got me the most creative since I would have to study the backgrounds in addition to the foregrounds, not just ignoring the backgrounds for the subject.
